In 2015, the popular racetrack of Road Atlanta returned to the MotoAmerica series for the first time since 2012 with rain providing a thrilling backstop to all the races. And the race will be back for a second successive year in 2016.

The 2.54-mile, 12-turn layout has undergone major improvements since changing ownership in 2006, but it’s still famous for the unchanged set of esses that takes riders on a run downhill and toward turn five.

The circuit is also known for the red Georgia clay that outlines the track and further distinguishes it from the other venues in the series.
